February is the month of Love! There are many expressions of love including weddings, flowers, candy, gifts, letters, stuffed animals and more. What is love, where does it come from and how do we get it? The Bible tells us, “Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.” 1 John 4:8. We pray that this newsletter will be an invitation for you to open your heart to receive and give the love of God. We all came down from heaven, with the help of our parents, with a built in ability to love from God. Maybe some experiences growing up taught us fear or hatred but our basic need for love is still there. Abuse sets the stage for how we see our world but it is not hopeless. God knows our heart and does forgive and heal when we allow Him to. Romans 8:35 reminds us that nothing can separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Remember you are special to Him.

Thank you very much for the little flashlight. It will really be handy on nights I get in from church and have forgotten to leave the outside light on. I love listening to your program on TV.
