Hour of Harvest Newsletter April 2024

Margaret’s Message:

We are currently living in a day and time that when each new disaster comes we are all saying “what is happening?” Isaiah 43:18-19 gives us insight on what we are seeing: “Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.”

We need to forget the past experiences and open our eyes to what is happening now. The Lord is doing miracles daily for His people. He is drawing us together as the church. When we see people forgiving each other and working together as the storms, floods and sickness come our way, we know only God could perform miracles like that. Personally we should ask God daily to open our eyes and hearts, allowing the good to be seen in each new experience. If it draws us closer to God, then that is what is good about it. Let us do our part with open eyes and hearts along with much prayer for others and ourselves.

We are on a homeward journey. Let us be kind and compassionate to all who will allow us. Remember how much He loves you!

Margaret
